Many times we experience hardship in our lives. The House of Prayer For All People Church under the leading of God and the headship of Pastor Stacey seek to provide help to those who are in need while challenging them to move forward in their life with the aid of the benevolence ministry. While it is not long term, it provides a glimpse of hope in times of need. 

 

Missions Ministry

Ministry and support to those in the mission field locally, nationally and internationally.

 

 

Intercessory Prayer

Ministry team from various disciplines, gifts, abilities and talents that will plan The House of Prayer For All People Church special events.

 

 

Hospitality Ministry

The Hospitality Ministry exists to ensure that members and friends of House of Prayer For All People Church enjoy a comfortable worship experience and encourages fellowship of fellow sojourners. 

The components of the Hospitality Ministry are:

Finance Committee Ministry

Collection of the offering from the congregation during worship services or designated special events.

 

Office Support Ministry

Assisting The House of Prayer For All People Church Support Staff in an administrative capacity.

 

 

Mustard Seed (Food Pantry)

Distribution of non-perishable items throughout the calendar year.

 

 

Prison Ministry

Leader: Bro. Kaiser Gary, Jr.

 

Through the message of hope, the prison and reentry program at The House of Prayer For All People Church provides a strategic message geared to those incarcerated and those reentering society. While they may have been incarcerated, we demonstrate a desire to usher those who are willing toward a fresh start in life. This is carried out through the message of Christ and partnering with other agencies.

 

Guest Service Ministry

Leaders: Deacon Otho & Sis. Sandy Bowe

 

Greeters, ushers, grounds parking, security.  Welcoming committee to all.

 

 

Parking Lot Ministry

Leader: Brother Alja Austin

 

While often behind the scenes, the parking lot ministry provides the strategic guidance for successful completion of many events for a church with many members. By directing members and visitors to their respective parking locations, our visitors may attend an event with a greater sense of order and safety

 

 

Ushers

Leaders: Sis. Karen Ellis

 

Assisting members and visitors on directions around the premises as well as finding a seat in the worship centers. Facilitating orderly transitions.

 

 

Security Ministry

Leader: Deacon Ellis Polk

 

Uniformed (licensed) and non uniformed personnel providing security during all worship services and selected special events at The House of Prayer For All People Church

 

 

Nurses Guild

Leader: Sis. Tory Haines

 

The Nurses Guild supports and assists our Pastor and congregation through using the gift of help and ministering to those in need. Our duties include providing refreshments to the Pastor and Pulpit associates. We provide comfort and support to the congregation during Worship services.

 

 

Welcome/Greeters

Leader: Sis. Celeste Humphreys

 

Through Christian love, we greet and welcome each and every person that walks through our open Church doors for a pleasant spiritual worship experience. You can expect to be greeted with a warmest, friendliest smile, best hug, firm handshake, and a heart felt "Good Morning" for we are always happy to have you come and worship with us.
